Many volunteers has gone before you, and all of them made a difference in The Keys village. Come and volunteer at our Volunteer Center and work with us on several Sustainable Development Goals projects.
Sint Maarten is still rebuilding and recovering from the devastating impacts of hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2017. On top of this, COVID-19 is having a severe economic impact on the local economy and community. Due to the crisis, the supply of fresh food has become insecure. To reduce dependence on food imports in the future, large-scale agriculture is necessary to make Sint Maarten less vulnerable and more self-sufficient.
We are continueing development of The Keys Market (TKM), an outdoor bazaar organized several times per year. In addition we initiated Community Gardening and Community Supported Agriculture projects. We also teach Permaculture, Aquaponics and Hydroponics to those who are interested in mentioned gardening techniques. We seek supporters and volunteers to help us further develop our local projects on St. Maarten.

This is all part of the daily and rural life in “The Keys”.
Since our passion is recycling most of our interior is contemporary designed with recycled materials giving that island style urban look accompanied with boho design, uniqueness and simplicity. On the premises you will find a Terrace (ground and roof) with barbecue area and our Kitchen Gardens where you are allowed to pick fresh and home grown veggies and herbs. Or even try a fresh captured fish from our aquaponic system.
